My most recent project, as of January 2010, was for my own mother. She is an ambitious paralegal and up until a few days ago, she didn't have an identity for herself. I wanted her logo to be simple, but still have that no-nonsense legal feel, hence the double line around the box. At the same time, my mom is a very unique woman, so I chose an unexpected shade of blue to be one of her colors. Needless to say, she loved what I had done- and not because I'm her daughter. Believe me, she is my most difficult client!
